The vacuum comes with four power modes, a variety of attachments and brushes, and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For example, you can opt for the robot to take care of a thorough clean-up in the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too and the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. Its only issue is that it is known to smash into objects and walls at full speed. However looking at the cleaning history on the app will tell you exactly what the robot has completed, where it's traveling, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
The docking station features an LCD display that indicates when maintenance is needed like emptying the debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank with a 600ml bottle of eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time, with the mop capable of running for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, while the vacuum is capable of running for 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and easily understood however we would have liked to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. This year's model has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This enhances the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to pick up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it overcome obstacles like walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface. It can then automatically change its path and clean around them without skipping a beat.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also loaded with features. Its sleek, angular design is striking, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin auto-refilling.
The only drawback I could find in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these advanced features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. You'll need to jump through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.

This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and pick up spills and soiled spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options to customize the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are a lot of features that other robots don't have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles instead of using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen on the market, with a white and metallic design that is elegant and stylish. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing but it's not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. Mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice feature.
